my crappy mo-life through my crappy eyes. what else?

sekeping serendah retreat

Sekeping Serendah.

“A private peaceful retreat attempting to tread lightly on the land. The very transparent and open sheds celebrate the beauty of the natural environment surrounding them. The sheds are intentionally kept basic and free from lavishness. They are seen more as ‘glorified tents’ to provide basic shelter for its inhabitants as they commune with the land.”

Sekeping Serendah - Glass Shed

Located a short distance off Rawang town, it’s only a 1hr + drive from KL. You wouldn’t regret it. I, for one, am awed by the serenity of the whole surrounding.

Sekeping Serendah - Glass Shed - Top Floor Bed Room

The top floor of the ‘Glass Shed’ is the bedroom with two large king size bed. Perfect place for a nap.

Sekeping Serendah - Glass Shed - Toilet

I was rather surprised by the open-air concept toilet (make sure you take your bath earlier, before night falls). Having said that, its a very nice touch to complement the whole Sekeping Serendah concept.

Sekeping Serendah - Swimming Pool

Btw, it started to rain once we reached our destination. Not to let it dampen our spirit, we sprang onto our legs, changed to our swimming attire (trunks, shorts and an Olympus water-proof camera), and dashed to the swimming pool.

Sekeping Serendah - Underwater Facial Expression

We swimmed under the rain. Nearby, there’s a bunch of high-class-society-wannabe looked at us and i’m sure they only had one thought in mind;

“Dumbass brainless ah-bengs swimming under the rain and thunder!”

Who cares?! We had so much fun.

Sekeping Serendah - Glass Shed - Dinner

For dinner, (trend of a lazy all guys trip) we ordered our dinner in from the Sekeping Serendah’s guardian. Food is fabulous (view more food photos here). After the wholesome meal, we practically just hangout at the hall, chit-chat, goofing around throughout the night.

Sekeping Serendah - Waterfall

We started late the next morning. Why? Bunch of lazy bumps.

Anyway, we walked for a mile to the waterfall under the hot sun. Once we’re there, all our clothes were piled on the rocks within minutes, everyone jumped into the cooling water and frolicking around.

The water was so cold.

Around 1hr after that, we make our way back to Sekeping Serendah, bathed, packed and headed to Rawang town for lunch.

I misses all of it.
